cicadas --my unborn grandchild'sheartbeat
I love that! I have an unborn child here with me so I'll think about that - :)
Great sound haiku!I really like the summer noon haiku, and its unusualness of 'defining sound from cicadas'; kinda slanting Basho and his penetrated rocks! As I'm an extra special bitter man, living in Real Ale country, I have to say that your haiku is also quite something special.I can imagine its power not just by being read, but read out live. Very very simple, but a lot of layers. All my best to both of you for these children to be born!
Alan- Thank you for your nice words!
