too hot

dairy cows
gathered in the creek
stooping willows

something there
crossing the road
heat shimmer

inside the kiln
a new pot bakes
sky-blue glaze

summer forest
the stench of carrion
beneath honeysuckle

Hi
My first visit to your interesting blog today.

I tried my hand at Haiku a couple of days back. My first attempt. Would you please let me know if these bits qualify to be Haiku?

Hot air against face
Like bread being baked
In an oven

Orchestra playing
Unhappy and heartbroken
Restless feet dance

What do you think? :)
